I do all the things around here from my home studio in Connecticut: from weaving to website design to shipping to marketing.
I make all my products on an inkle loom which is used for weaving narrow bands of fabric. I'm having tons of fun developing patterns and choosing colors.
My primary focus is making straps and fun accessories to add to your crossbody bag to make it more colorful and uniquely you.
Many years ago, I learned the art of band weaving on an inkle loom. But I put that aside as my rope basket business required more and more of my time. More recently, I realized that the straps I had woven would be a beautiful compliment to my rope totes and handbags. What I didn’t realize was how much joy I would experience from the weaving process – from pattern design and color selection to the act of weaving itself. So much so, that I felt compelled to change the trajectory of my business to allow myself more time to focus on what I loved most. Now, you can add my colorful, hand-woven, crossbody straps to your own bag!
